She comes to Wayfind with more than 25 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and leading entrepreneurs and solopreneurs to advance their marketing objectives. Well acquainted with the unique challenges of organizational advancement, Diane has mapped out marketing and communication strategies for nonprofit directors and small business owners across the southeast. She is sought out and trusted as a mentor and a coach because she knows the lay of the land—she currently serves as Executive Director for a nonprofit providing support to families impacted by pediatric illnesses or disabilities. She knows how to lead staff teams, transition new hires, and rally volunteers for service opportunities.
“People call me Tom Sawyer—meaning that I really enjoy equipping and empowering others to work. That’s what I love to do. I like to work with teams and believe that we can accomplish more together.”
She and husband David have traversed the southeast, midwest, and mid-atlantic before landing in Memphis, TN where they enjoy hanging out on their back porch drinking coffee and sweet tea with their four children, Hannah (23), Clara (20), Noah (16), and Elijah (13) and their two canines, Luke and Leia, who think they are human. Diane has a BA in Communications with a major in Public Relations from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
